Solution:

TECO Australia joined the successful commissioning of the TECO MV510-JB0/270 Drive, custom-tailored for a 2800kW, 11000V application. This project, conducted from February 26, 2024, to March 14, 2024, highlights our commitment to delivering innovative and reliable solutions in the mining sector.

Project Highlights:

Drive Details: TECO MV510 11000V, including both SAG and BALL Mills

Commissioning Phases:

1. Initial Setup and Testing:

• Rigorous site induction
• Visual inspections
• Precharging of power cells
• Extensive safety and functionality testing from transformers to high-voltage systems

2. Operational Testing:

• No-load testing for SAG and Ball Mill motors
• High-voltage switchgear testing
• Fine-tuning of the MV510 drive for optimized performance

3. Final Phase and Training:

• Commissioning the SAG Mill motor
• Comprehensive system operation checks
• Intensive training for the client’s operations team to ensure smooth handling
