TECO MAX Ex Electric Motors is designed for maximum safety and efficiency. These motors are IEC Ex Certified, boasting an array of certifications including Ex e (Increased Safety), Ex nA (Non-Sparking), and Ex tD (Dust Ignition Proof).

With a comprehensive range of certifications, including Zone 1/Zone 2, Gb, IIC, T3, and more, our motors are equipped to excel in challenging environments. These durable motors feature Metric frame designs adhering to IEC60034 and AS/BS frame allocation, catering to a wide range of industrial needs.

TECO MAX Ex Electric Motors are engineered for power, ranging from 0.18kW to 450kW (stock) or 560kW (Built to Order), providing the flexibility needed for various applications. Compliant with IEC standards, these motors deliver exceptional performance while meeting or exceeding IEC60034 Minimum Efficiency Performance Standards table B3 “High Efficiency.”
Operating at 380~415 Volts 3 Phase 50 Hz (with other supplies available on request), our motors utilise the highest quality insulation system, employing Class F (MAXe3 PSD) or Class H (MAXe3-Mining) materials. With a low temperature rise and low noise levels, these motors are built for continuous, S1-duty operation.

Furthermore, MAX Ex Electric Motors feature IP66 protection, cast iron construction with side-mounted terminal boxes, and offer versatile mounting options, including foot, foot and flange, and flange types (C* and D). For arduous belt drive applications, models with oversized shafts are available on select versions.

Rest assured of the durability of TECO MAX Ex Electric Motors, as they also include fabricated steel terminal boxes, and MAX Ex Brake Motors. To further enhance versatility, a wide range of accessories are available, backing up our 2-year warranty.
